Charnwood Stoves at Sussex Eco Solutions
Us Brits, theoretically, love buying British designed and manufactured products. But with the global marketing, cheaper manufacturing, and on-line purchasing, more and more of us are opting for the most convenient route, from the sofa order on our internet device to delivery at the door. However, what becomes harder and harder to achieve is an up close inspection of the product prior to purchase, not to mention customer services, knowledgable staff and after sales support,
I recently fell foul of this. Making a purchase of a stylish kitchen appliance, it arrived within 2 days of ordering, only to find it didn’t quite live up to the claims, or aesthetics, made on the website. Attempting to send this back became an even harder ordeal, with an insured return being almost as much as the product itself. Purchased from a well known national company, there was little help or assistance in after-sales, especially when it was to end up with money back.
Charnwood’s strategy is very clear- sell through carefully selected physical retailers/dealers, who are committed to having their products on show, and even on-burn, to help any potential buyer make an informed decision.
Sussex Eco Solutions have a vast range of Charnwood wood burning stoves within their showroom, with educated staff to talk you through the product. The majority of the staff at Sussex Eco Solutions have been trained by Charnwood stoves, and have looked around the factory to see the high quality and efficiency of their manufacturing methods- starting from a metal sheet to the beautiful crafted Charnwood stove, oozing both style and quality at the end of its creative journey.
Charnwood Stove range, C, Cove, Island, Country, Bay, Pico and the Bembridge have all been inspired from places where the factory is located, Isle of Wight.
Charnwood’s main company, AJ Wells, also offer a fabulous enamel products- from inset surrounds, to heat panels, shower panels and kitchen splash backs- all known as VLAZE.
