Installing a Gas Fire
Low running costs, energy efficiency and “touch of a button’ heat control are just some of the benefits of having a gas fire in your home.
The huge choice of real flame effect gas fires, the reliability of your gas supply and “clean” operating method means gas fires remain a popular choice.

How much does it cost to install a gas fire?
The cost of installing a gas fire depends on a number of factors, including preparation work, whether you need any new pipes run to your gas supply and robust testing to ensure your new gas fire is safe.
Before we fit any gas fire, we will carry out a Home Survey to ensure your room is suitable for a gas fire and that the air can circulate properly to expel potentially harmful carbon monoxide fumes.
Your safety is our prime concern and we will check your existing gas supply, measure your room size and ventilation methods before advising whether a gas fire is the right choice for you.
Choosing a new gas fire
Sussex Eco Solutions has been supplying and installing gas fires for customers across east and West Sussex for over 10 years.
Here’s our advice on how to choose your new gas fire.

Bring with you: –
- Some photos and measurements of the room where you want to put your gas fire
- A drawing or illustration of where your new gas fire will be located
- If your new fire will be in a new building or extension, please bring the plans with you.
- Details of the existing gas supply to your home.
Home Survey
Once you have chosen the fire you want or have narrowed down your options to a few favourites, we will book a time for one of our engineers to visit you and carry out a home survey.
As part of the survey, we will check the installation site is suitable and provide you with options and prices to help you make an informed decision about the right fire for you.
